Alpha in the Workplace began as a one-off Alpha course run in a boardroom in Canada and soon became a model used in other companies around the world. It works extremely well for the same reason that Alpha works in churches – people find community amongst their peers in the middle of their working day. Many Alpha in the Workplace guests comment that it is a privilege to be able to take time to look at the spiritual side of life during their working week.
