Run a Course
7 Steps to a Successful Course
1. Get permission from your chaplain
Check with the prison chaplain as to whether they are already running an Alpha course. If not, ask about starting one. Running an Alpha course in a prison offers unique challenges, such as the high turnover of prisoners and strict prison regimes.
2. Assemble your team
Gather people who are passionate about prisons, and have experience of helping on an Alpha course in a church. Then ensure they get Alpha for prisons training.
3. Pray
Pray as a team for God's help and guidance.
